You have probably heard of Kegel exercises before, but you may be wondering exactly what they are and how they benefit you.  Well…you’re in luck!  Kegel exercises came about thanks to Dr. Arnold Kegel.  Basically, when you exercise your Kegel, you contract and relax the muscles that form part of the pelvic floor a.k.a Kegel muscles.  If you need help finding these muscles, try urinating and stopping the flow midstream.  Focus. If you can successfully do this, then you are using your Kegel muscles! Congrats.  By now you must be wondering, “how does this benefit me sexually?!”  Regular exercise of your pelvic muscles increase blood flow in your gentials, improving blood circulation, causing you to be more sensitive and aware of sensation. If your pelvic muscles are strong, orgasm is more likely to be stronger and more pleasurable.  Multiple orgasms are possible.  Women with strong pelvic muscles are more likely to be more orgasmic.  Also, women who exercise their pelvic muscles have firmer and tighter vaginas. Men who partake in Kegel exercises build a harder penis and longer lasting erections.  Men also have more control of ejaculation resulting in greater sexual stamina.  There are even exercisers and tools you can use to help with your Kegel exercises.  With that said, what are you waiting for? Get started now!
