Choosing the Best Dildo – Part 4 covered Silicone Dildos. In this last part of the series we will be covering glass and acrylic dildos.
If you want to for go the soft flexible dildos and prefer a nice hard dildo instead, then acrylic or glass is a must! Some examples of highly recommended acrylic and glass dildos are the Don Wand Lil, the Clear Sinsation Glass Dildo by RubyGlass21, and the amazing Blue Triple-X Galaxy Glass Dildo by RubyGlass21. Since these toys are really firm, most people choose a slightly smaller size. The rule of thumb here is: the firmer it is, the bigger it feels.
A majority of acrylic and glass dildos are handheld only. Glass and Acrylic dildos don’t have a wide base, thus they are not mountable or strapable; however, similar to silicone dildos they range in price and are very easy to clean. Using soap and warm water does a great job of cleaning these toys. Word of caution: Acrylic should be washed in warm water since hot water can cause tiny cracks in the surface, which clouds the toy. Glass can generally be placed in hot water which means they can be boiled or put through the dishwasher. Glass dildos are really durable and resist breakage.
