“Women can Orgasm” Tip: No “Real Way”

Get away from the idea of The “Real Way” train of thought!  Both men and women mistakenly believe that the “real way” to orgasm is strictly through vaginal intercourse.  Other methods of achieving orgasm, like through clitoral stimulation (manually or orally), do not count to these people because these orgasms are considered inferior to a “vaginal orgasm.”  This belief, which originated with Sigmund Freud, causes many women to think they are disfunctional, broken, abnormal, inferior, you name it – just because they can’t orgasm “the real way.”

Remember: The majority of women orgasm most effectively through clitoral stimulation or vaginal stimulation paired with clitoral stimulation.  The majority of women can’t orgasm by vaginal stimulation alone, and that is FINE!!  An orgasm is an orgasm no matter how they happen to occur. Trying to orgasm the “real way” can trap people into worrying about sexual performance and can definitely inhibit orgasm.
